Catalina was exotic in a sleepy village kind of way,
Santa Barbara was much smaller than I anticipated.

But didn't you just love Santa Barbara?
It's been a few years since I was there, so I suppose it has changed a lot...like everywhere else, doggone it!
Actually, I spent a day "touring" Santa Barbara and had a wonderful time. Of course I had been there a few times when I was younger. I had a friend whose parents lived in Goleta, and we would take holidays and weekends there sometimes.
